It is with great pleasure that we see on the golf course and at the Bad Mergentheim Golf Club that the players are getting younger and younger. Whereas 10 years ago 12-year-olds were still considered “Bambini” in most German golf clubs, today it is 5- to 9-year-olds. At Golf Club Bad Mergentheim it is very important to us to support this development.
We specifically promote children and young people who have a passion and talent for golf. Our goal is to spread golf more widely in Germany and to improve the level of performance. All of this requires the right environment, committed and qualified trainers, administrative support and financial commitment.
The Bad Mergentheim Golf Club specifically supports children and young people from the surrounding area through training that is tailored to their age, because golf is more than just a sport. In addition to training the muscles, golf promotes intense exercise in the fresh air. Furthermore, golf helps to improve communication skills from an early age and offers children and young people the opportunity to make new, valuable contacts.
At the Golf Club Bad Mergentheim we therefore offer a special children and youth program for 5 to 18 year olds.
The training lessons are led by our golf pro Andrew M. Limb and the youth warden Uwe Jantschek and Stefanie Traut.
